PLEASE READ ITEMS 1-4 THOROUGHLY BEFORE PROCEEDING TO THE ONLINE REGISTRATION. ITEMS 1-4 ARE A HIGH LEVEL OVERVIEW OF THE REGISTRATION AND APPLICATION PROCESS. ONLINE REGISTRATION IS ONLY THE FIRST STEP TO FULFILL THE EAA REQUIREMENTS TO BE APPROVED TO RACE IN THE AIRVENTURE CUP.
- ONLINE REGISTRATION – By clicking register now (below) you will be directed to our new online registration app. All applicants will need to create a new account using a unique email address and cell number. Once all of the application sections are submitted the AVC race staff will review and either follow up for more information or update status to completed. This may take a day or two. Once your application and waiver are ready they will be available to download on the app.
- APPLICATION AND WAIVERS – Following registration it will be your responsibility to sign into the app to see if the application and waiver are completed and available to download. Please download and print these documents. Once printed, verified for accuracy, signed, and original copies mailed to the EAA address on the forms. Only ORIGINAL, ink-signed waivers are accepted. Please mail this at your earliest convenience. EAA will not accept applications post marked after June 1, 2024.
- CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE – Obtain a certificate of insurance, from your agent, that complies with EAAs requirements. The requirements and instructions for requesting this certificate will be detailed in subsequent emails and on our website. This certificate can be emailed to us, so there is no need to wait for this to submit your printed application. Except in rare circumstances, this certificate SHOULD NOT HAVE ANY COST from your insurance provider.
Only AFTER you have completed items 1-3 above, the application process is complete.
The deadline for completion of these items is no later than June 1, 2024 and May 1, 2024 to receive the early bird discount!
- ENTRY FEE – Once all paperwork has been submitted and approved, a link will be sent to pay your entry fee online, or alternatively an address to mail a check. DO NOT pay your entry fee until you have been approved to race, and have been notified as such. As in years past, the entry fee is 100% refundable until race check-in the weekend of the event if for any reason you cannot participate. The Race Entry Fee is $300 for those racers who have submitted a COMPLETE application package prior to May 1, 2024 and $350 for people submitting their application package between May 1, 2024 and June 1, 2024.
